Mount Claremont is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, Australia, located within the Town of Cambridge and the City of Nedlands. At 23.4%, it has a higher number of university or tertiary institution graduates than Perth’s average of 13.5%.
Mount Claremont contains the Challenge Stadium and the Western Australian Institute of Sport, as well as John XXIII College, Wollaston Theological College and lands owned by the University of Western Australia. It is served by various buses, and the southeast of the suburb is on the railway line between Karrakatta and Loch Street.
Mount Claremont consists of four sectors:
* "Zamia Gardens" - the newest estate of Mount Claremont, still in the process of construction.
* "St Johns Wood" - a newer estate with many new residences on larger blocks of land and many gaining views to the city. The older parts of St Johns Wood border John XXIII College and Graylands Hospital.
* "St Peters Square" - a higher density development similar to Subiaco Centro with townhouses situated around a central park.
* Old Mount Claremont - This section was the original development with most homes being built in the 1940–1950s, some properties border Cottesloe Golf Course.
